InfiNet Wireless, the leading global manufacturer of broadband wireless solutions, showcased its latest solutions for uncompromised connectivity for the fourth year running at this year’s Mobile World Congress – one of the most prestigious events dedicated for mobile and wireless technologies.
The event – which was held between February 26th and March 1st at the Fira de Barcelona, Spain – attracted the most prominent technology manufacturers, mobile and fixed operators, and Internet service providers from the communications industry, with a truly international attendance represented by exhibitors and guests from more than 200 countries.
The InfiNet booth brought together the company’s partners from Europe, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East, with various members of the company's management team being interviewed by both the local and international press. Various contract negotiations with potential clients and new partners were also held during MWC 2018.
The InfiNet product portfolio showcased at MWC this year included the InfiMAN 2x2, the company's unrivaled Point-to-Multipoint solution, which performs equally well in near-LOS and non-LOS conditions. This range of solutions has been designed for applications where connecting locations can be a real challenge if using standard wireless solutions, such as in remote suburbs and the countryside, whilst at the same time guaranteeing high-quality connectivity with guaranteed SLA criteria. Also showcased in Barcelona was the record-breaking Point-to-Point solution, the InfiLINK XG 1000, and the next-generation beamforming base station sector, the R5000-Qmxb.
The InfiLINK XG 1000, capable of delivering up to 1 Gb/s, was designed for high-performance backhauling applications and for providing reliable coverage over long distances of more than 60 km when used with external high gain antennas, while the R5000-Qmxb is able to significantly reduce levels of interference and deliver two-fold performance increase, thanks to its built-in directional electrically-steerable antenna patterns.
Dmitry Okorokov, CEO at InfiNet Wireless commented: "Being the central location for meeting the world’s wireless communications professionals to discuss market developments, trends and challenges, MWC provides our team with the invaluable opportunity to meet with a number of new and existing partners as well as media every year. With the demand for high-bandwidth connectivity and performance continuing to grow year on year, we will continue our innovative R&D activities to provide the most innovative wireless solutions aimed at meeting the ever increasing demands from the future 5G and IoT platforms. We are already looking forward to the next MWC event.”
