An international team from InfiNet Wireless took part in this year’s GITEX from 12-16th October at the Dubai World Trade Centre. GITEX is the largest technology exhibition for companies across the Middle East, Africa, India and South Asia and, for the eighth year in a row, InfiNet welcomed partners, distributors and customers from right across these regions to its stand.
At the exhibition, InfiNet showcased its new flagship product – InfiLINK XG, the latest generation of devices for Point-to-Point connections - delivering outstanding performance with bandwidth capacity of up to 480 Mbps at 40 MHz and up to 100 Mbps at 10 MHz. This equipment is designed to build the backbone networks for telecommunications infrastructures, educational institutions and oil and gas facilities, "smart city" programs, as well as video surveillance and public safety solutions. Another new product demonstrated at the exhibition was the latest solution in cross-sectoral synchronisation, designed to increase the performance of wireless networks in a limited frequency resource.
InfiNet saw an increase in interest in its latest fixed broadband wireless access technology and throughout the week the team spoke to leading telecoms operators, representatives from large corporates, manufacturers and private companies.
To date, the Middle East has been one of the largest markets for InfiNet and it has delivered a large number of successful implementations across a wide variety of market segments – from developing city surveillance systems and equipping the oldest Universities with modern communication capabilities in Saudi Arabia, to the creation of large-scale infrastructures for telecoms operators including DU in the UAE, Nawras in Oman and MADA in Kuwait, amongst others.
InfiNet’s equipment is able to operate reliably for many years in the harsh climatic conditions of the desert, in temperatures of over 50°C, earning the company the reputation as one of the most reliable manufacturers of wireless solutions.
“InfiNet has over 10 years of successful experience in international markets. Our equipment has deservedly gained a reputation as one of the most reliable and high-performing products, and the large-scale projects we have delivered to customers in the Middle East are the best proof of that. The region is a key focus for us and we intend to continue our long-term partnerships with companies across the Middle East and Persian Gulf and to expand our presence throughout Asia,” - said Dmitry Okorokov, CEO at InfiNet.
