InfiNet Wireless appoints new regional director for Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan

InfiNet Wireless, one of the world's leading manufacturers of broadband wireless access systems, is set to further strengthen its presence in the CIS region through the appointment of Sergei Chetvergov as the new regional director for the  Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan territories.  Sergei’s key focus in these strategic markets will be to further build out and strengthen  InfiNet Wireless’s  investment and business presence in the region, developing deeper relationships with new and existing clients and  supporting the ongoing distribution of InfiNet’s products and solutions into key vertical and technology market segments.

Sergei joined InfiNet Wireless in September 2014 from Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management solutions. Prior to this, Sergei held a number of senior level positions within Tajikistan and Kazakhstan’s industrial enterprise market.  Beginning his career in 1987 at an aluminum refinement and purification plant under the Council of Ministers of the Tajik SSR, he held various positions as Chief Engineer and Head of Department for a number of leading industrial and energy companies until he joined Schneider Electric in 2008.

Sergei is a graduate of Electrical & Power Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
Commenting on his appointment, Sergei said: “InfiNet Wireless is building upon an already strong presence, long experience and good brand recognition in this region, and this appointment signals the intent by the company to further strengthen its presence in these key markets.
