Global Growth Sees New Production Facility Unveiled for InfiNet Wireless

InfiNet Wireless, the global leader in fixed broadband wireless connectivity for Internet service providers, machine-to-machine networks, video surveillance and public safety systems, today announced the opening of its new state of the art production facility in Ekaterinburg, Russia.

The company has seen substantial growth over the last two years, driving the requirement for expansion into the new production facility which allows the company to almost double its production capacity and implement enhanced quality assurance testing of all products. It will also see the company’s cutting-edge R&D and technical support capabilities grow by up to two and half times.

Demand continues to come from InfiNet Wireless’ world leading InfiLINK XG product range - the best spectral efficient product on the market - which has already been deployed in over 30 countries globally.  As mobile operators scale their deployment of 4G and LTE they are looking for increased capacity, distance and functionality from wireless products, which the product has been able to deliver.

Dmitry Okorokov, Chief Executive Officer at InfiNet Wireless, said: “Since its foundation, the company has grown significantly both in terms of headcount and capacity of production, with our brand and products now being recognized globally.  I am confident that even after more than 20 years of working in the industry, we will stay at the cutting-edge of technology for many years to come and keep surprising the market with our best-in-class solutions and products. For us this is just the beginning.”

InfiNet Wireless is a high-technology company, which has always prided itself on innovation and to always be at the cutting-edge of research and development. The R&D team accounts for about a third of the total number of employees and continues to grow steadily year on year, with the internal team now highly specialized in hardware and RF design, mechanical design and embedded software development.

Viktor Savochkin, Production Director at InfiNet Wireless, said: “The move to the new facility sparks the global success we are now seeing as a company as we define our own approach to designing truly reliable wireless systems.  We now have our production facility staffed with more than 100 employees; there are a number of people who joined us when we started manufacturing the products more than a decade ago and who are still with us today. We’ve had great achievements in the past, but there are many more milestones to achieve ahead.”
