Infinet Wireless sums up the results of 2019

During 2019, Infinet Wireless implemented a number of significant projects in various industry segments, entered into new long-term partnership agreements, developed a brand new range of wireless solutions, opened up new markets in various corners of the world, and re-branded its entire corporate image.

The overall sales results for the year were very positive, as per our planned strategy, and thanks to continued business development efforts made by the company’s partners and sales teams.

Our most notable achievement of 2019 is the complete revamping of our technological platforms, moving from the traditional approach for hardware design, to one based on software defined radios, or SDR. We achieved a major breakthrough as evidenced by the launch of two innovative product families, the Quanta 5 andQuanta 70, both providing the highest level of spectral efficiency available in today’s wireless marketplace, coupled with increased performance and even better affordability to our customers.

Quanta 5 is the first Infinet product designed specifically for the smaller service providers.  It has a number of built-in features to mitigate high levels of interference, increase performance two-fold, all at a lower cost of ownership.

Quanta 70 has been designed to operate in the unlicensed frequency range of 71 to 76 GHz, a spectrum band which has currently a low level of use. The SDR solution can be used to create high-density networks and deliver higher capacity services even closer to the end users.

Also during 2019, InfiNet updated several of its already well-proven point-to-point solutions, including the second generation of the InfiLINK XG 1000, a high spectral efficiency platform capable to deliver up to 1Gb/s in normal conditions. The XG 1000can be used in all types of applications, such as for the backhauling of 4G/LTE base stations, to connect digital oil fields and to deploy higher resolutions homeland security infrastructures.

Infinet has always taken good care of its partners and end customers, and continues to improve its services offered to them via various strands of its Ecosystem. In 2019, we introduced new tools such as the Infinet Academy, which allows for faster document searches, generate quickly unit configurations for various scenarios, etc. The Infinet Academyhas also launched a series of new training courses, with approved centers in Russia, the UAE, Romania, France and Colombia. A new certification process and online registration is now fully operational.

The market of Russia and the CIS countries

The year just gone saw a few major contract wins in some of our more closer markets such as Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Armenia.

Just to name a few, we delivered complete satisfaction to customers such as Gazpromneft Orenburg, the Gold mining company Polyus, the Russian television and radio broadcasting operator RTRS (we provide transmission of television and radio signals at the district level for them), Grodno Electric Networks (Belarus), the oil production company “Karazhanbasmunai”, the mobile operator KCell in Kazakhstan, as well as the mobile operator “ArmenTel” in Armenia.

International market

Infinet continues to implement small and large projects in the Middle Easter region. In the UAE, for example, we delivered higher capacity solutions to the operator du, enabling them to deliver even higher capacities to their corporate customers.  In Oman, we designed and deployed a brand new infrastructure for Muscat Pharmacy, a chain of health clinics and dispensing outlets. And in Africa, we modernized the entire telecoms infrastructure of the container terminal at the port of Doraleh in Djibouti.

The year 2019 also witnessed a planned expansion into the Latin American markets, resulting in major contract wins in Mexico, Colombia and Brazil. One such project was for the ambulance services in Cartagena de Indias, in northern Colombia, where we connected wirelessly all assets of the company to their main control center.

In China a large-scale video surveillance platform based on Infinet equipment was deployed for the cities of Huaizhou and Qingdao with a population of more than 10 million people, as well as a comprehensive modernization of the China Mobile network, providing high capacity backhauling for hundreds of remote base stations in rural areas.

The markets of Southeast Asia also saw a significant increase in the number of projects. In Indonesia, we supplied a large wireless network for one of the leading mining companies in the country, PT Saptaindra Sejati, as well as secured video surveillance projects in both Thailand and Malaysia.

New logo

Another significant event of 2019 was the revamping of our corporate identity, symbolizing the transition to a new stage of our company’s growth in the digital era.

We created a brand-new logo based on the infinity symbol and the radio-waves we are proudly associated with. This new logo reflects the stability of the Infinet brand, as shown over the past 27 years since our inception, and the company's ability for innovative change and growth, both of which help us maintain our leadership position in the Fixed Wireless Broadband arena.

“We are firmly focusing our product strategy on the development and continuous improvement of our innovative wireless solutions”, noted Dmitry Okorokov, CEO, InfiNet Wireless. “Our reputation as a reliable and long-term partner in the global market, providing the best-in-class benefits to our end users, allow our customers to solve simple and complex connectivity issues with minimal hassle and cost. The positive feedback and continued loyalty we receive from our customers is a clear testimony to the quality of our solutions and services. In 2019, we significantly strengthened our position in multiple vertical markets, as reflected in increased our overall sales results by more than 20%. Our plans for 2020 are more ambitious than ever before and we are expecting to see further growth thanks to a few new solutions we will be launching throughout the year.”
