What is your company planning for MWC this year?
Being a key player in the fixed broadband wireless arena across multiple continents, we regard such an event as being a truly global one where we have the opportunity to present our very latest technologies and solutions. Our plan for this year, just like in previous ones, is to present our most recent portfolio additions, network with industry experts and users from all corners of the world, and ultimately increase significantly our brand awareness in the mobile industry.
What will your main focus areas be?
The main focus for MWC 2016 will be our new generation of InfiLINK XG product line, designed primarily to relieve the bottleneck issues experienced by mobile service providers in the backhauling part of their 3G/4G networks. This generation is the highest performing Point-to-Point solution in sub-7 GHz frequency range available in the marketplace today. We will be introducing a wider range of features and benefits as well as new hardware platforms covering frequency bands like 2 GHz, 3 GHz and 4 GHz. We already have these solutions operating successfully in the 5 GHz and 6Ghz bands. Our main objective is to find that perfect fit by providing the best spectral efficiency and enabling service operators of all types to squeeze their valuable spectrum for the maximal number of megabits per second, whilst maintaining the lowest latency possible.
How does this relate to your growth plans in the next year or two?
We have always focused on the service providers market segment, and this event represents a golden opportunity for us to consolidate our current position, as well as seek new partnerships with players in the same arena as us, but on a more global basis.
How important is MWC for your business?
This is clearly one of the major industry events in the world. By taking part in it, along some of the world’s top operators and integrators, is simply a gathering we cannot afford to miss. Not only will be able to establish many contacts, but we will also be educating ourselves about the general market trends and plans being made by our targeted market sector.
Did you exhibit at the show last year? If so, what impact did it have on your business?
Yes, we were also present in Barcelona in 2015, where we picked up some very serious enquiries from various parts of the world. In fact, some of these already resulted in contracts signed with new customers and partners mainly from Africa and Latin America. Last year’s event also helped us increase our brand awareness in the service providers sector. That is the key reason why are gladly returning to MWC in 2016, and most probably will be taking part in future events too.a
