InfiNet Wireless increases presence in China as part of its global expansion plan

In line with its strategy to increase its global presence and meet the ever-growing demand for its solutions, InfiNet Wireless, a leading global manufacturer and provider of carrier-grade wireless infrastructure, today announced its market expansion into China.

Having already established a firm base in many other markets such as Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle Eastern countries, InfiNet Wireless is now ramping up its commitment to Asian markets with the strengthening of its existing offices in Beijing and Shanghai and provision of further support services to its local customers and the company’s Chinese partner base.

As part of this strategic move, the company recently appointed Henry Wang as its new business development manager for China, focusing on specific market sectors and underscoring the company’s commitment to this vast country. Henry brings with him many years of experience in the wireless industry, gained with both local and international solutions providers for data communications, and will be responsible for generating and supporting new growth through the appointment of new channel partners and across a large industry sector.

Kamal Mokrani, Global VP Sales & Marketing for InfiNet Wireless said:  “Our company strategy has been to aggressively target growth into new market segments and geographies that show an appetite for broadband wireless and mobile backhaul infrastructures. China is a perfect market for us given its appetite for the latest and innovative technologies, coupled with its significant growth in all industry sectors.”

In light of the increased adoption in mobile broadband across Asia and a growth in mobile penetration, wireless operators in China, where monthly subscriber numbers have been experiencing continuous and explosive growth, are increasingly looking to lower mobile data costs while offering high-speed connectivity across next generation platforms.

In addition to this, the Chinese government has clearly shown that they are very serious about ensuring that all Chinese cities are safe and free from all physical, social and mental threats and has embarked upon a “Safe City” programme aimed at addressing urban insecurity and promote the culture of crime prevention. Infinet Wireless can indeed play a vital role in the development of such community-wide approaches, as already demonstrated in many regions of the world.

China is a key market for us and one where we have already started to build a footprint”, said Henry Wang. “The current market growth presents us with numerous untapped opportunities for our solutions and I’m really looking forward to the challenge of carrying on the great work that we have already been doing in other regions.”
